In days gone by, the telegraph was an important part of every ‘Ham’s Life’ When a Ham passed away, their key became silent, hence the term “silent Key”. This memorial is dedicated to that memory.

No response… On Monday December 4th 2023, Roger Darrell Grundstrom became a “Silent Key”.

Roger along his wife Lois was one of the first people I meet here in Hot Springs. I remember Roger and Lois on their dirt bike coming to visit us regularly. Roger will, and already is, missed on the airwaves. Roger was preceded in death by his wife Lois M Grundstrom, W0LFB whiskey zero lima foxtrot bravo.
